Preparation before Installation
1- Make sure Zen Cart files have been uploaded to domain directory or sub directory.
2- My SQL database has been created in hsphere. Creating MYSQL database
1- Select MYSQL in the Databases menu.
2- Click on MYSQL DB wizard in MYSQL.
3- Enter Name of database.
4- Click on Next Button.
5- Enter User name, Password and select database role in section "Add MySQL user to the database".
6- Click on Finish button.
Zen Cart Installation Steps
Before proceeding for installation, kindly make sure all steps are done in section "Preparation Before installing Zencart"
Select I have read and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions as stated above. and click on Continue.
If all options are showing green. You can go to bottom of page and click on Install. PHP API mode may be in orange color you can ignore it. ("PHP API Mode = cgi-fcgi").
Enter Database Host, Database Username, Database Password and Database Name.
and Click on save database settings .
Click on Save database settings .
If you want to install phpBB too. Then select yes to allow phpBB. Please make sure phpBB files are also uploaded and you give the right directory name.
Enter Store details
Click on save Store settings
Enter Administrator's Username, Administrator's password, Administrator's email. and click on save admin settings.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed Zen Cart™ on your system!.
